The AG Bell Global LSL In-Person and On-Demand Symposium offers continuing education opportunities for professionals.
Participants can earn continuing education units (CEUs) through the AG Bell Academy for Listening and Spoken Language, or through the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Erin Ingvalson, Ph.D.
University of Washington (United States)
Erin Ingvalson, Ph.D., is a Research Associate Professor in Speech and Hearing Sciences at the University of Washington where she directs the Listen and Learn Lab. Recent work in her lab has focused on understanding how children who are deaf and hard of hearing learn spoken language and develop literacy skills.

Chrisanda Sanchez, Au.D., is Director of the Children’s Hearing Program at the University of Miami Ear Institute and Associate Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology and Pediatrics.
Valerie Sung, MBBS(Hons), FRACP, MPH, Ph.D., GAICD
Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (Australia)
Associate Professor Valerie Sung is a consultant pediatrician at Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital, Principal Research Fellow and Co-Group Leader at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, and Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne. Her clinical and research program on child deafness was recognized by a 2019 L’Oréal-UNESCO Australia For Women in Science Fellowship.
Viral Tejani, Au.D., Ph.D.
University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve University (United States)
Viral Tejani, Au.D., Ph.D., is a Cochlear Implant Audiologist and Associate Professor of Otolaryngology. He provides clinical services and conducts research in cochlear implantation. He completed his Au.D. at University of Maryland and his Ph.D. at University of Iowa. He was also born with hearing loss and uses hearing aids.
