Our Cradle to Career Partners

AG Bell celebrates its corporate partners who are working with us to ensure that people who are deaf and hard of hearing can hear and talk. The Cradle to Career Initiative supports a child’s journey with Listening and Spoken Language through four phases:

  • Offering support to parents at diagnosis with the AG Bell Hotline and early childhood webinars.
  • Raising awareness that children with hearing loss can speak and hear through local expositions in collaboration with AG Bell Chapters.
  • Providing internships at partner headquarters to prepare young people for the workforce.
  • Placing college students with hearing loss research internships at universities to inspire careers in science and contribute to relevant research.

AG Bell has worked closely alongside several other national organizations to publish a Community Code of Kindness. This joint position statement confirms AG Bell’s ongoing commitment to respecting and sharing resources that bring the deaf community as a whole together. Our shared goal is to build a stronger future for children who are deaf and hard of hearing.
