Attend this lunch and learn session to hear about AG Bell’s programs for youth and young adults, and how the programs have been a catalyst for DHH young adults to become secure with their identity of having hearing loss. DHH young adults will share their lived experiences. 

By the end of this session, learners will be able to: 

  • Experience the diverse successes of individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and who have grown up living the LSL life. 
  • Recognize the impacts of AG Bell’s programming for tweens, teens and young adults on the lives of participating individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. 
  • Learn the value of advocacy strategies used in the real-life experiences of young adults who are deaf or hard of hearing.
