This session introduces AG Bell Academy’s new Bridging Course, a culturally relevant program designed to expand global access to Listening and Spoken Language (LSL) intervention. Attendees will explore how the course eliminates barriers to LSLS certification and hear insights from the pilot phase to apply the model in diverse contexts worldwide.
By the end of this session, the learner will be able to:
- Identify how the newly developed Bridging Course will increase knowledge of LSL intervention globally, by collaborating with constituents to provide culturally relevant courses.
- Explain how the Bridging Course eliminates one barrier to LSLS Certification and how this model differs from regular continuing education opportunities.
- Discuss the current pilot phase with Pre-Pilot Volunteers as well as early Pilot adopters to better understand how to apply and offer a successful Bridging Course.
