Audiology Assessment and Collaboration

Participants will learn basic pediatric diagnostic audiology procedures and strategies to improve timeliness of identification of hearing loss. Strategies for collaboration between professionals will be discussed to identify system improvements and maximize outcomes for deaf and hard of hearing children.

By the end of this session, learners will be able to:

  • Explain clinical audiology processes for deaf and hard of hearing children.
  • Review care processes for deaf and hard of hearing children.
  • Identify collaborative strategies between different provider types.
